Rod Dixon
<How lucky was Hope School having an Olympic Champion visiting? Rod Dixon won a bronze medal for New Zealand in Munich at the 1972 Olympic Games. One of his greatest achievements was winning the New York Marathon, in the last mile, in 1983. His motto is Finishing is Winning ... Winning is Finishing. We are applying this to our cross country training - maybe Room 2 has a future Olympic Champion.
